Upper Tamarack Lake

Turn at Bassetts on to Lakes basin Road, 1.2 miles to the Sardine/Packer Lakes turn off. Drive .2 miles, turn right to Packer Lake. Drive 2.5 miles, take the Tamarack Lakes turn off across from the Tamarack lakes trailhead parking. This is a four wheel drive rocky road .7 to lower Tamarack and .2 to upper Tamarack. There are big Brook trout in upper Tamarack, early in the morning or late in afternoon, just get there when the sun is off of it. Nice hike from the trailhead or Sardine Lake. Lower Tamarack has no fish near as I can tell.
