Deer Lake

I like to drive up the paved road to Packer Saddle, turn right at the sign and follow the dirt road about 2 miles to the rim that overlooks Deer Lake. The PCT passes right there and you can hike down. There is an OHV road just to the north requiring 4 wheel drive that takes you down to the lake, or about 150 feet above it. Nice fish.
