Lets face it, the economy is not helping any of us in many ways. With that said, we still need to get away, and quite frankly the Sierra City area and our property are a "cheap date". Our rooms are priced well below those of the large resort areas, and the entertainment here is free. All you need is a pair of walking shoes, a swim suit, a digital camera, a fishing pole, a good book and some willingness to explore the great outdoors. With full kitchens and no charge for any amenities at our place it is affordable for the whole family and fun to boot. In fact, we have not raised our rates again this summer even as our costs increase. We have not got any stimulus money from Congress and withheld all bonuses this year!!

Welcome to the good life where the rules are short and sweet, no schedules, no deadlines, no dress code, we keep it simple, take time to rest, relax, and renew, breath deep, make smores, and spend time enjoying the great outdoors, it's the perfect time to hike, fish and explore.
The peace and tranquility of mountain living can be yours at this nice vacation destination. Located above the North Fork of the Yuba River in this one time mining town, the resort is situated beneath the Sierra Buttes. We have 11 cabins with different formats including river views, kitchens, whirlpool tubs and other configurations. We have a main deck over the river that offers beautiful views of the river and the Buttes, a nice place to relax and if you rent all the rooms, a nice place for all to meet and bar-b-que. You will find an office/store/recreation room with a pool table, dart board, a library full of books for guests to take, DVD's free to guests, games, and a store with beer and wine, T-shirts, hats, sweat shirts and vests. In the winter we have 4 pairs of snow shoes you can use. We now have internet available at a PC in our store, or you can access it via wireless at most cabins.
