Roads- All roads are open and clear.
 

Remember to call the CalTrans number 1-800-427-7623. Enter the road number and it will only tell you if there is a problem or road condition. 

Bugs- the bugs are here. Bring bug juice of your choice. The yellow jackets have been really mild but remember it only takes one.

Weather: it is clear and cool in the mornings. It is warm today but slated to cool some the rest of the week, maybe low 80's.

  Disclaimer- we will try and keep this current but we can't be held accountable for the changing weather and roads. Remember, if you don't like the weather in the mountains wait 10 minutes it will probably change. I will try my best though. Carry chains year round, always have warm clothes and don't forget to bring wine in case you get lost in the woods. My wife and I carry a blanket, bottled water, TP, warm shoes and jumper cables at all times.
